The Brazilian centre-back's representative dampens speculation linking his client with a switch to the Premier League, amid interest from Martin Jol and Alan Pardew
FC Twente defender Douglas will not be making a move from the club, according to his agent Rodrigo da Silveira.
The Brazilian has been in demand throughout the summer with Premier League trio Newcastle, Fulham and West Ham all reportedly showing an interest after an impressive season in the Eredivisie.
However, after club chairman Joop Munstermann insisted no bids had been lodged for his star defender, agent Da Silveira has moved to further quash speculation linking his client with a move to Craven Cottage.
Da Silveira told De Telegraaf: "We're not in London and won't go to London. We're with Douglas in Enschede and don't negotiate with Fulham.”

The agent continued to claim Douglas was more than happy in to stay in the Netherlands and would play in the club’s Europa League qualifier against Bursaspor on Thursday evening.
“Douglas will be on the pitch on Thursday against Bursaspor,” he added.
“Douglas is happy at FC Twente and will stay there."
