Nice agree terms with Ajax over Cvitanich

The Argentine striker is one step closer to completing his move to the Ligue 1 side after both clubs reached an agreement, but personal terms have yet to be struck
Nice have announced on their official website that they have agreed terms with Ajax over the transfer of Dario Cvitanich for an undisclosed fee.

The Ligue 1 side had been looking to add more firepower to their squad ahead of the 2012-13 campaign, and now looks set to acquire their reinforcement in the form of the 28-year-old.

Cvitanich joined Ajax from Banfield in the summer of 2008, but failed to live up to the high expectations at the Eredivisie champions.

The striker was farmed out on loan to clubs such as Pachuca and Boca Juniors in the past few years, and now appears to be on his way out of Ajax on a permanent basis.

He has yet to agree personal terms with Nice, however, but is expected to ink a contract with the French side in the upcoming days.
