Hamit Altintop appears to be nearing a Real Madrid exit as Galatasaray have shown a strong interest in signing him, according to Marca.
The midfielder joined Los Blancos on a free transfer from Bayern Munich last summer but has struggled to break into the first team, making just 12 appearances in all competitions this season.
With no guarantees of regular match action forthcoming, Altintop is keen to move on and it is speculated that he already has an agreement in place with Galatasaray.
The 29-year-old has a contract with Real until 2015, but the Liga champions are ready to cash in on the utility man if suitable offers come in.
Altintop is understood to have requested a move in January but was turned down by the Bernabeu hierarchy, who were unwilling to sanction player sales midway through the season.
He has also been linked with a move to Trabzonspor.
