The Argentine has said that his compatriot remains in contact with PSG as the striker looks to have grown frustrated with his lack of playing time at the Santiago Bernabeu
The Madrid forward has been strongly linked with a new challenge after playing second fiddle to Karim Benzema for much of the 2011-12 campaign.
PSG have been suggested as one of the sides interested in Higuain, as Carlo Ancelotti looks to add to his attacking options, with Pastore confirming last week that the club are keen on signing his compatriot.
"I am continuously in contact with Higuain and he is still talking to PSG," Pastore told RMC.
Higuain, who joined Madrid from River Plate in 2007, scored 26 goals in all competitions this season.
