The Spanish defender will leave Blackburn Rovers as a free agent this summer having not featured since December, with an offer from Qatar reportedly also on the table
Salgado is out of contract this summer and will leave Blackburn having not made a first team appearance since December.
And the Spaniard could now be set to link up with former Real Madrid team-mate David Beckham in Los Angeles, it is claimed.
The MLS club could face competition, however, with an offer from an unnamed club in Qatar reportedly on the table.
Salgado revealed earlier in the season that he has not featured at Blackburn because the club do not want to trigger a clause entitling him to an extension after a certain number of games.
According to a source cited in the report, Salgado would have been willing to waive that clause in order to continue playing, but the club refused his request.
The right-back reportedly had the chance to leave Ewood Park in January but did not want to uproot his family in the middle of the school year.
