Manchester City's Carlos Tevez is set to earn £10 million-per-year if his proposed moved to Paris Saint-Germain is completed, as well as securing a signing on fee of £8.3m, according to The Sun.

The Argentine striker had been keen to move to Serie A, with AC Milan his reportedly preferred destination. Yet the Rossoneri ended their interest in Tevez when forward Alexandre Pato opted against a switch to PSG, with Milan's rivals Inter moving into pole position to sign the player.

Yet the French club's vast wealth has blown both Italian clubs out of the water in the race to sign the wantaway 27-year-old.

PSG have reportedly completed negotiations with Tevez's adviser Kia Joorabchian and are proposing a three-and-a-half-year deal.

Carlo Ancelotti said: "Everyone knows that we want a striker. Carlos Tevez? It's a great opportunity for us to have a great striker.

"Today Tevez isn't playing for Manchester City — but he wants to play. We hope to find a good solution.

"He is a great player. In around 15 days he could get back into great physical condition."
