AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic feels Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez is a great player, but is of the opinion that the Rossoneri need Antonio Cassano in the team more than they need the Argentine.

Cassano has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2011-12 campaign after undergoing heart surgery in 2011, and Milan consider Tevez to be the ideal replacement for the Italy international.

"Carlos Tevez is a great player, but I am still waiting for Cassano," Ibrahimovic was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"The Argentine is a real ace. However, I miss Antonio on the pitch. We play completely different without him and I have to make much more sacrifices."

Nevertheless, with Cassano unavailable for the rest of the season, Milan are eager to add Tevez to their squad in order to fill the void left by the Italian forward and they are hopeful of signing the City attacker.

The Rossoneri have so far only made an attempt to sign the Argentina international on loan, but the Citizens are only interested in off-loading him on a permanent basis.
