Carlos Tevez is believed to have laughed at Manchester City after the club's exit from the Champions League.

City were relying on other results to take them through to the next stage of the competition, while needing to beat Bayern Munich at the Etihad Stadium in the last game of the group stage.

Roberto Mancini's men managed to secure a 2-0 result against the German club, but Napoli's victory over Villarreal meant that the Premier League outfit were flushed into the Europa League.

Tevez, who was frozen out of the squad for allegedly refusing to go on as a substitute against Bayern in Germany, was reported to have been on stage with his musician friend Juan Carlos Jimenez Rufino at the time while on holiday in Cordoba.

According to The Sunday Mirror, the musician said "Que se caguen!" directing it at City, which is believed to mean "f*** them" when translated into English, with the Argentine laughing and singing after being invited on stage.

Tevez is widely expected to leave City in January, with AC Milan, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain thought to be interested in his services.
