The former Barcelona player hails the legendary Italy international, while backing Luis Enrique to succeed at Stadio Olimpico
The 21-year-old left Camp Nou to link up with former Barcelona B coach Luis Enrique in the Italian capital.
And, although his side have come in for criticism, the Spain international is enjoying playing for Roma, and has been particularly impressed with Totti.
"Totti has impressed me most about Roma. He has been, and remains, a very important player, who has spent many years here," he told SPORT.es.
"The other day he explained that he joined the club in 1989 and is now 35 - he arrived before I was born!"
Bojan also said that he is unconcerned by the time he has spent on the bench since joining the club in the summer.
"I was fine in pre-season, but of course, I was with another club which has a different philosophy for 12 years. And as much as Luis Enrique wants to implement a style of play that works for me, the philosophy of the Italian league and its teams is different."
Roma have been criticised for their early season performances, but Bojan has backed Luis Enrique and his tactical approach.
"I think his philosophy is fitting very well. The results are coming, we had two straight wins and we played very well. Here, people aren't used to this game and changing the way things are done is not easy, but Luis Enrique is doing a great job."
Roma currently sit sixth in the Serie A table, three points behind leaders Juventus.
