The Giuseppe Meazza outfit lost players such as Samuel Eto'o, Goran Pandev and Davide Santon, but brought in Ricky Alvarez, Mauro Zarate and Diego Forlan among others.
"I think the work we've done has been positive. Overall it's definitely positive. I think we have a superb squad, but I say that partly as a fan," Moratti said, as reported on the official Inter website.
"I think it's an interesting team and there are some new players for us to get to know, which is one of the fascinating things about football.
"It's important to have a team that is very strong and convincing in midfield and defence too, so that the side can play brilliant football."
Inter will start their 2011-12 Serie A campaign with an away match against Palermo on September after their original opener against Lecce was postponed due to the players' strike.
