The Argentina international has continually been linked with a move away from his current club and Roma are hoping to lure him to the Italian capital
A five-year deal worth €1.5 million per season awaits Pastore in the Eternal City if both clubs can reach an agreement, Il Corriere dello Sport reports.
Roma are ready to make a €30m offer for Pastore and could include a few youngsters in the deal in order to convince Palermo to cash in on their star player.
The Lupi are desperate to add some fresh blood to their squad following the recent takeover by American businessman Thomas DiBenedetto and they see the 21-year-old Pastore as the perfect addition to their roster.
Pastore has also been linked with clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea in the past few months, but Roma appear to be sitting in pole position to sign the playmaker.
