Cristiano Ronaldo To AC Milan Is Impossible - Real Madrid's Jorge Valdano
Real Madrid chief pleased with Milan interest in Ronaldo, but said his man would be staying at the Spanish club as he is not for sale
Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at Real Madrid, assures general director Jorge Valdano, who says that a summer switch to AC Milan is far from likely.Ronaldo, who has scored 29 goals in 30 league matches for Madrid, has been consistently linked with the Italian giants ever since the Italian club's patron Silvio Berlusconi told friends he would do all he could to bring the ace to San Siro.
However, Valdano claims Milan will not cut deeply enough into Ronaldo's future to prise him away from the Bernabeu.
"It's nice to hear that a president like Berlusconi and a club like Milan dream of our players," Valdano told Sky Sport Italia. "But Cristiano Ronaldo will remain with us."
The Portuguese forward has been included in Jose Mourinho's 19-man squad to play Barcelona in Wednesday's Champions League semi-final, first-leg encounter.
