Dutchman is aiming for a move to either Italy or England as his exit from the Eredivisie side looks all the more certain, but agent adamant no deal has yet been doneAjax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg would consider a move to Juventus if a transfer materialised, claims his agent.
The 28-year-old Netherlands international is being linked with the Old Lady as a replacement for Gianluigi Buffon, but has also been monitored by Manchester United, who need to find a new shot-stopper when Edwin van der Sar retires in the summer.
This week Goal.com exclusively revealed how Buffon would consider a future away from Serie A, leaving Juventus with the prospect of having to look around for a new custodian in the summer.
And Stekelenburg is ready to join the Italian club if an offer arrives.
"We are looking for an important European club for next season," Rob Jansen told Calciomercato.it.
"Juventus are a serious candidate, but at the moment there has been no contact with the club.
"We are looking at Serie A or the Premier League."
Asked if Stekelenburg would still consider Juve in light of them missing out on the Champions League, the agent added: "Of course, Juventus are Juventus."
The Bianconeri are currently seventh in the league with eight games remaining, with a fight on the hands to even secure Europa League qualification for next season.
