Roma defender Juan has revealed he intends to fulfill his contract with the Giallorossi rather than return to Brazil.

The 32-year-old's contract with the Lupi is set to expire in June 2013, but has been linked with a return to the South American nation to compete in the Campeonato Brasileiro.

"I have not authorised anyone to negotiate or offer me to clubs in Brazil or abroad," the stopper affirmed in a statement released by his agent Michele Gerbino. "I have two more years on my contract with Roma, and there is nothing that is making me change my mind on not fulfilling my commitment.

"My focus is solely directed to help the club achieve their goals."

Corinthians vice-president Roberto de Andrade, though, tells a different story, suggesting that the stopper has been offered to his club.

"Juan was offered. I believe not only to Corinthians, but to other clubs as well," he told Lancenet. "We have not talked to him, or dined with him in Rome.

"We do not know at what price he will move - if it is possible. All we know is that he wants to return."
