The agent of Palermo goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu has revealed he has not been in contact with Roma over the possible transfer of his client to the Italian capital.

Carlo Pallavicino says the move could happen in the future, not ruling out the possibility of the Italian international joining the Giallorossi.

"From what I know, there has not been any contact between the player and the club," the agent told lasignoraingiallorosso.it. "My client, though, would be thrilled to wear the Lupi jersey.

"The deal could be favoured by the good rapport between [Palermo president Maurizio] Zamparini and the Italian capital club, but it could take some time."
