Zlatan Ibrahimovic has taken a parting swipe at Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola after signing for Milan last weekend.

The 28-year-old had fallen out with his former boss before securing a loan move to the Italian giants, who have the option of purchasing him outright for 24 million (£19.9m) after the 2010-11 season.

"I said nothing, but I can't afford to stay in the stands and watch the weather. Nobody at Barcelona wanted to sell me, but the problems began in March. I sought an explanation, but he didn't answer me," he told the press.

"A great coach solves the problems with his players. A little one runs away from his problems. At first we had a good dialogue, then suddenly, I don't know what happened. I can't afford to spend a year or three in the stands, I saw what happened last season with Thierry Henry."

Despite the problems with Barca, the former Ajax star is very pleased to be back at the San Siro and believes his side can make an impression this season based on their potent strike force.

"Robinho is a magician. We have the strongest attack in Europe, if I were the coach of Milan then I would be very happy," said the Swedish international.

Ibrahimovic spent five seasons with Juventus and Inter from 2004 to 2009, scoring 80 goals in the Italian top flight during that spell.
