Milan have offered Tottenham Klaas-Jan Huntelaar on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent move, according to talkSPORT.
Huntelaar, 27, failed to impress at the San Siro last term and repeat rumours have linked him with a switch away. Spurs manager Harry Redknapp is in the market for a new centre forward and he tried to buy the Netherlands international from Real Madrid last summer before he made the £12.5 million move to Italy.
Chairman Daniel Levy has refused to sanction any bid until Champions League qualification is secured and the temporary offer from Milan has appealed to him. Huntelaar has previously refused to leave the club, but their attempts to land Barcelona star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has forced him towards the exit door.
Despite playing for Real Madrid and Ajax before his move to Milan, Huntelaar’s drop in form since joining the club is highlighted in the Castrol Rankings. The Dutchman is rated as the 1500th best player currently plying his trade in one of the top five leagues in Europe.
