Barcelona's Zlatan Ibrahimovic To Make Sweden Comeback
The Barcelona striker is coming out of international retirement after a nine-month lay-off...

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed he will return to Sweden's national team fold after several discussions with new Sweden manager Eric Hamren.
"What I have always said is that I am proud to play for the national team. You can count on me to be there at the national team's next game,” Ibrahimovic said in a press conference on Friday.
The Barcelona talisman admitted a lack of motivation resulted in his initial decision to quit the national team as Sweden’s loss to Denmark signalled the end of his country’s chance to qualify for this summer’s World Cup in South Africa.
"After the last game, when we didn't get into the World Cup, I felt my motivation disappear," Ibrahimovic explained.
"So I decided to give up. I had no desire to play. I'm a competitor, I play to win. After your career, you want to be remembered as someone who won.”
Ibrahimovic will return to the national team as captain of the side as the 28-year-old looks to add to his tally of 22 goals in 62 appearances for the Blue-Yellows in a bid to reach Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine.
The Swedes will tackle the Netherlands, Hungary, Finland, Moldova and San Marino in a bid to reach the finals. Ibrahimovic is expected to make his return to the team beforehand as Sweden conclude their preparations for the Euro 2012 qualifiers with an international friendly against Scotland on August 11.
