Manchester City & AC Milan Target Zlatan Ibrahimovic Is Staying At Barcelona - Agent
No move to Serie A or anywhere else planned for this summer....
By Zack Wilson
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not going to be leaving Barcelona for Italy this summer, according to his agent Mino Raiola.
The Swede has been linked with AC Milan as well as Premier League outfit Manchester City, but his representative insists that the 28-year-old wants to stay at Camp Nou, despite the recent arrival of Spain international David Villa.
"What the player wants is what Barcelona wants," Raiola told Gr Parlamento.
"Both parties have stated they don't want a move to take place.
"The club has declared that it doesn't want to transfer him [Ibrahimovic].
"I have always said that Zlatan will move when he decides to move."
Ibrahimovic played for Juventus and then Inter before joining Barca last summer for a reported £40 million.
Raiola maintains that his client will not be moving anywhere this summer though
"If there was an interest from AC Milan they should reach an agreement first with Barcelona," said Raiola.
"Only then would the player consider it because that would mean Barcelona has decided to transfer him.
"Ibrahimovic signed a five-year deal with the Spanish club.
"Have I spoken to [AC Milan vice-president Adriano] Galliani with regards to Ibrahimovic? Five years ago before he went to Inter."
