Portugal and Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo has ruled out any chance of a return to Manchester United any time in the future.

The 25-year-old spent six fruitful years at Old Trafford, wearing the iconic No.7 jersey and going on to become the club's first Ballon d'Or winner in forty years.

The former Sporting player then made a move to the Spanish giants in 2009, for a world record £80 million fee.

When asked if he missed plying his trade at Old Trafford, Ronaldo is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "Yes, of course I miss Manchester."

But when quizzed if he considered the possibility of a return to his former club, he said: "No, I don’t think I’ll be going back."
