Liverpool Target Tottenham Hotspur Manager Harry Redknapp - Report

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has emerged as the top target for Kenny Dalglish as he begins Liverpool's search to find Rafael Benitez's successor.
The Spaniard announced his departure from the club by mutual consent yesterday after agreeing a £6 million severance package. Dalglish and managing director Christian Purslow are heading the recruitment drive for his replacement.
According to The Mirror, Redknapp could be lured up north even after he delivered Champions League football to Spurs for next season. He is reported to be upset with a lack of a contact extension from chairman Daniel Levy and is excited about the prospect of leading one of the most famous names in the sport.
The Anfield outfit are rumoured to be prepared to offer a two-year, big money deal to persuade Redknapp to take control.
