Arsenal Prepare To Loan Francis Coquelin To Lorient As Pursuit Of Laurent Koscielny Continues - Report
Arsenal are set to loan Francis Coquelin to FC Lorient in order to aid their attempt to sign the French outfit's defender Laurent Koscielny, according to a report from The Daily Mail.
The Gunners apparently made a £4.2 million offer last week. Lorient however want £7m for the 24-year-old centre-back.
The Londoners will reportedly make an improved offer this week and will hope that Coquelin moving in the opposite direction might sweeten the deal.
Coquelin, 19, is a defensive midfielder or right-back who has represented France at Under-19 level.
