Report: Filippo Inzaghi New Milan Deal Imminent
The Rossoneri won’t renege on their word…
By Vince Masiello
Filippo Inzaghi is on the brink of penning a new contract with Milan to extend his career at the San Siro by a further season, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.
Inzaghi’s current deal is set to expire and Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani had said last month that an extension for the 36-year-old was tied to the Diavoli claiming a top-three finish in Serie A to earn direct entry into next season’s Champions League.
The pink daily reports that the D-Day has been set for this Friday when ‘SuperPippo’ will meet with Galliani at the club’s headquarters in Via Turati to sign on the dotted line.
