Arsenal are set to compete with Fiorentina to sign highly-rated Bologna goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano.
TuttoSport have claimed today that the Gunners will battle it out with the Serie A side to buy the 24-year old, who is co-owned by Inter Milan.
Both Lukasz Fabianski and Manuel Almunia have flopped this season when selected by Gunners manager Arsene Wenger. At 6ft 4in and with experience of the Italy Under-21 team, Viviano would represent a commanding figure in the Arsenal goal.
