Filippo Galli Ready To Take Milan Job
The 46-year-old has put his name forward to succeed Leonardo.
By Vince Masiello
Filippo Galli admits he would not turn down the opportunity to take charge of Serie A giants Milan.
The former defender spent over a decade at the club during his playing days and is currently the director of the youth academy at Milanello.
And there are suggestions that the duo of Galli and Mauro Tassotti are in line to take over from Leonardo at the San Siro.
“I am a professional and a Milanista,” Galli told Mediaset last night.
“I live within the Milan environment every single day and I am at the club’s disposal.
“But this choice is down to the president [Silvio Berlusconi] or the chief executive Adriano Galliani.
“Either way, I am carrying forward a project at Milan and I’m happy with the results we are getting with both the Primavera side and the entire youth area.
“But since I am a Milan employee, I am available for whatever role.”
