Former Real Madrid, Arsenal and Sevilla striker Davor Suker has revealed he thinks Jesus Navas should join Real Madrid and that he told Raul to finish his career in England.

“I know [Sevilla President Jose Maria] Del Nido and as there are many players who have gone from Sevilla to Real Madrid, I hope that in the future he [Jesus Navas] comes to Real Madrid,” he told Eurosport.

The 1998 FIFA World Cup Golden Shoe winner went on to offer some advice to his former Real Madrid team-mate, suggesting Raul should follow in his footsteps and finish his career in England.

“Raul is a friend of mine. I would love him to finish his career in England, as I told him to his face when we met last. It would be nice to see him finish his career in London.”

Finally, the former Croatian international gave his tips for this summer’s World Cup.

“I want a final between Spain and Argentina, but I think England are a very strong team.”
