Having exceeded the number of Liga matches played to be considered for a transfer to another Primera side this season, Deportivo La Coruna's Filipe Luis expressed his interest in moving to Real Madrid next summer.

In an interview published by Marca, the Brazilian left-back spoke about last summer's transfer saga between Depor and Barcelona, which ultimately fell flat because of the price demanded by the Galician side and also commented on the possibility of a transfer to Real Madrid next summer.

"The Barcelona saga is in the past and I look to the present and the future. I made my debut with Brazil and my dream is to play in the World Cup.

"I need to continue growing and becoming a player at the highest level; 2010 will be even better for me than 2009 was. It is too soon to speak of a summer exit, things will happen as they come.

"It is a real honour to have Real Madrid's interest. I played in the Castilla (Madrid youth ranks) and that was a privilege. For the moment, I am only thinking of working hard," he concluded.
