Highly rated Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko has made it clear that he's not leaving the German titleholders for an Italian adventure in the upcoming January transfer window.

"A transfer in the winter is not an issue at all," the Bosnian international told Sport Bild.

Dzeko is high up on AC Milan's list of targets and the Rossoneri are believed to be lining up another bid for the attacker after failing to tempt the Bundesliga outfit to sell last summer. Additionally, Juventus are believed to be keeping tabs on Dzeko as well.

The prolific forward opted to extend his contract at the Wolfe by two years until 2013 earlier this season. A release clause was inserted allowing him to join any club willing to match an agreed transfer fee of around €35 million, from next summer.

Head coach Armin Veh is slowly beginning to get used to the idea of not having Dzeko around next season.

"We are scouring the market," he said. "But we can only get really serious when Dzeko leaves."
