Real Madrid's Fernando Gago Is Wanted In Italy - Agent
Out of favour with los Blancos, Gago could be prepared to make a switch to Italy in January, though his agent has indicated that it depends on his present employers releasing him...
Reports in the Spanish press have claimed the former Boca Juniors man has become unsettled at the Primera Division giants. He is peripheral in coach Manuel Pellegrini's plans, and has rarely featured.
The 23-year-old has become concerned that his place in the Argentina squad could be in jeopardy if he doesn't play regularly, and his agent has opened the door to a move.
"It's true, the player is liked in Italy," Veckic told Calciomercato.it.
"I have not been contacted officially by any team. A possibility could arise from between now and January, but it all depends on Real Madrid, with whom he has a contract until 2013.
"Until Real Madrid say that want to sell him we will not be moving."
