Chelsea Representatives To Discuss £40m Deal With Sergio Aguero's Agent - Report

The Telegraph reports that Chelsea representatives are to meet with Bruno Satin, the agent of Atletico de Madrid hotshot Sergio Aguero, in the hope that the player will agree to terms with the west London club.
The CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) has temporarily suspended the transfer ban on the Roman Abramovich-owned club, who are consequently free to bring in talent during the winter.
Aguero has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in recent times, and was reportedly close to a switch in the summer.
Now, it is claimed that the Blues are set to shatter the British transfer record by bringing in the 21-year-old striker for a fee believed to be in the region of £40 million.
The record currently stands at £32.5m for the transfer of Robinho from Real Madrid to Manchester City.
Atleti are allegedly hoping to strike a hard bargain with the Blues, but believe that the pivotal point in the deal will be the meeting with Satin on Monday, as the player's representative is said to be demanding an agent's fee of around £5m if the transfer should go through.
It is also believed that Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has an eye cast in the direction of Bayern Munich in the hope of mounting a bid for Franck Ribery once the Aguero deal reaches fruition.
