Manchester City Make Plans To Replace Robinho - Report
The Citizens have started thinking of alternatives in case the Brazilian departs....
City boss Mark Hughes has reportedly become increasingly exasperated with the forward over the international break as the saga surrounding the player's return from injury continues.
Robinho's decision to remain with the Brazil squad and make pronouncements about his readiness to play for his country despite his club manager clearly stating he wasn't fit have infuriated the City coaching staff.
The MEN states that the Eastlands outfit are now considering moving for Benfica's Angel di Maria, but could be discouraged by the £36 million buy-out clause in his contract that runs until 2015.
The Citizens are also still believed to be keen to bring in Yaya Toure from Barcelona to bolster their midfield options in January.
