Van Der Vaart Denies Hamburg Contact And Vows To Keep On Fighting At Real Madrid
Real Madrid's Dutch playmaker has had to to deny more transfer rumours...
The Holland international has consistently been rumoured to be set to leave the Santiago Bernabeu after a first season that saw him unable to impress.
During the summer, Van der Vaart was told by the club's new administration that he was surplus to requirements, only for him to insist that he did not want to leave and was eventually given a reprieve after Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben both left.
Now he has been tipped to be sold yet again and a return to Hamburg is on the cards but the player has denied that he has any intention of leaving Madrid.
"I have not had any contact with Hamburg. There is nothing at all," he was quoted as saying by Bild.
"Although I do think it's great that people remember me, because that means that I have left good memories at the club.
"I have a contract here and I will do everything possible to get in the team regularly and take my chances."
