Exclusive: Zinedine Zidane Recommends Troyes Starlet Sega Keita To Real Madrid
The list of clubs interested in the France Under-18 youngster continues to grow, with 'Zizou' nudging los Blancos in the midfielder's direction...
The French legend, who now works as a consultant for Los Merengues, has told the Spanish club's board to consider trying to attract the 17-year-old midfielder from Troyes.
Keita has been strongly linked to a move to Arsenal after manager Arsene Wenger was told about him having impressed during his first five matches for the first team.
Troyes ply their trade in the third tier of French football, but the Senegal-born playmaker has been widely tipped to step up to the top level. Several major clubs have already watched him.
Along with Arsenal and Milan, Inter have been keeping tabs on Keita and now Madrid are set to register their interest after Zidane became aware of his raw talent.
No concrete bids have been made but Troyes are reported to be well aware that they will be fielding offers either in January or at the end of the current campaign.
Having declared himself ready to play for France, Keita, who recently signed a professional contract with Troyes until 2012, has already been called into the nation's Under-18 squad.
