After midfielder Christian Poulsen rejected a loan-move to Fulham, Juventus may attempt to reduce the player's salary."Christian is only willing to leave Juventus outright," his agent, Jan Bonnesen, told Tuttosport.

The Bianconeri would also like to permanently off-load the midfielder if possible, as they want to regain the investment they put in the player - who cost nearly €10 million from Sevilla last summer.

If the Dane cannot secure a transfer, or even a loan for the time being, the Turin giants are considering cutting his hefty €3 million yearly salary, as they do not consider him a key member of the squad.

The player's wages are scaring off a number of teams even though there is plenty of interest in his services. It seems several clubs are not willing to offer that type of salary to the 29-year-old.

Rumours continue that the player could move to Barcelona, while centre-back Martin Caceres may be going in the other direction.
