Luis Fabiano's agent has revealed that his client is desperate to move to Milan.
The Brazilian striker appears to be Milan's top transfer target, and his agent is keen for a deal to go through. However, he believes Sevilla are being unrealistic in their valuation of the player.
Speaking to AS, the agent said, "We cannot go by the fees that Real Madrid are paying.
"Those are abnormal numbers. The reality is that we are in a global economic crisis.
"It is unrealistic to expect another transfer fee in the region of those for Daniel Alves and Sergio Ramos."
He then explained his reasoning, continuing, "Luis Fabiano is 29 years old.
"I hope Jose Maria del Nido understands the human aspect, which is that the player wants to go to Milan. He can not go crazy with transfer fees.
"Sevilla bought him cheaply, and can still make a profit."
With their quest for Edin Dzeko having failed, Fabiano remains Milan's top target, although Emmanuel Adebayor is emerging as a viable alternative.
