Olympiakos Keen On Jose Antonio Reyes - Report
The Greek champions have reportedly entered the race for the winger...
Olympiakos are weighing up a move for Atletico Madrid's unsettled winger Jose Antonio Reyes, AS suggests.
The former Arsenal man has struggled for form at the Vicente Calderon and is believed to be assessing his options ahead of the new season.
Reyes' agent has spoken of his client's desire to secure a permanent switch to Benfica, whom he represented last season on loan, but the Portuguese club are yet to reach a compromise with Atletico.
Reports in Spain on Thursday spoke of Fiorentina's interest in Reyes, but fresh speculation indicates that Olympiakos are now in the frame for the 25-year-old.
However, it is reported that the Greek giants see Reyes as their third option, behind Olympique Lyonnais' Kim Kallstrom and Real Betis winger Mark Gonzalez.
Olympiakos' signing of Kallstrom will be somewhat difficult as the Sweden international appears to be determined to stay put at the Stade Gerland and prove himself following the departure of Juninho.
AS reports that if negotiations for Kallstrom and Gonzalez fail to produce any effect, then Olympiakos will be interested in making a €5 million approach for Reyes.
