Lyon Launch New Bid For Lisandro Lopez
The French giants have not given up on signing 'Licha'...
The Argentina international's future has been the subject of intense speculation this summer, with Lyon chasing the striker's signature.
The French club are looking to bolster their attacking options, and money should no longer be an issue for them following the €35million sale of Karim Benzema to Real Madrid.
Lyon have so far seen all their approaches for Lopez rejected by Porto, the latest of which an €18 proposal, and reports in Portugal on Thursday claim that the French club have upped their latest offer by €2 million.
Olivier Blanc, director of communications for Lyon, has now confirmed the latest stories, being quoted in Le Progrés as saying, "There has been, in fact, a new offer.
"Negotiations have not broken down. We are still interested in signing the player."
