Inter Striker Hernan Crespo To Fiorentina Imminent – Agent

The Argentine will supposedly be wearing a purple strip next season...

Crespo - Inter (Grazia Neri)

Despite reports that Napoli have entered the fray to sign him, Inter striker Hernan Crespo will indeed be going to Fiorentina, according to the player's agent, Fernando Hidalgo.

"In the coming days there will be an announcement," the representative was quoted as saying by Tuttomercatoweb.

The player has been linked with a move to the Stadio Artemio Franchi over the past couple weeks and the negotiations are apparently coming to a successful conclusion.

Crespo has been a bit-part player at the San Siro this season, earning limited playing time and only scoring two goals. The former Chelsea man has often voiced his frustration at his lack of opportunities during the season and was left out of the Champions League squad.

The 33-year-old's imminent arrival has continued to fuel speculation that Adrian Mutu will be leaving Florence this summer.
