Manchester City director-general Garry Cook is in a meeting with Kaka's father and agent, Bosco Leite, in the city of Milan.
Sky Sports Italia claims that the two have gone head-to-head to discuss terms over the Brazilian's oft-rumoured transfer to Eastlands.
This conference between Leite and Cook follows a pow-wow involving Adriano Galliani and father, which was said to be a prelude to a move taking place.
On what has been described as "Kaka D-Day" by some in the Italian press, the main players in the transfer appear to be coming together.
