Galliani: Kaka Has Prevailed In Our Hearts

The Milan vice president spoke highly about Kaka, following the club’s decision to reject an offer from Manchester City.

After weeks of speculation, Kaka is officially remaining in Milan, after club president, Silvio Berlusconi, prevented the move from going through at the very last moment.

The deal was reportedly signed, sealed and soon to be delivered, however Berlusconi had the final say on matters concerning his star playmaker, as he declared that the former FIFA World Player of the Year was an “unsellable” player in his squad.

Following the announcement that Milan had rejected a mega offer from Manchester City, the vice president of the Rossoneri, Adriano Galliani, praised both the player and the president involved in the transfer saga.

“Kaka’s heart has prevailed over reason, and for that, the club and I are very thankful,” Galliani told the Milan Channel.

“The fans must once again thank president Berlusconi for this economic effort, which he did only because he loves the Rossoneri,” he added.

“It certainly was a very strong temptation for both Kaka and Berlusconi, however the Brazilian has listened to his heart, and not his head,” Galliani concluded.

The Milan tifosi will be overjoyed with the news that their superstar is staying put at the club, as they can now solely focus their attention towards winning this season’s Scudetto.
