thumbnail Hello,

More than two thirds of our voters have branded the Red Devils' abject performance in Greece as the poorest yet in a disastrous first season under David Moyes

Manchester United's 2-0 defeat to Olympiakos was their worst performance of the season to date, according to Goal readers.

More than 68 per cent of those who voted in our poll believe the Champions League last-16 first-leg loss on Tuesday was the lowest point to date in what has been a dreadful first season in charge for David Moyes' men.

Just 23.44% of readers believe United have performed worse during the 2013-14 campaign, while 8.04% remain unsure if the Red Devils have put on a poorer showing this term.

More than 1900 Goal readers voted in our poll following United's humbling defeat in Greece, which came about thanks to goals from Alejandro Dominguez and Joel Campbell.

The Premier League champions have now lost 11 matches in all competitions this season, with Sunderland, Stoke City, Swansea City, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion among those to have tasted victory at the expense of the Old Trafford outfit.

Moyes' side had been unbeaten in their Champions League campaign this season until Tuesday's loss - a result which gives the Greek champions an excellent chance of reaching the quarter-finals of the competition for the first time in 15 years.
