Dortmund must take their chances against Arsenal, insists Reus

The 24-year-old attacker is expecting goal-scoring opportunities to be at a premium at Signal Iduna Park, while Die Schwarzgelben have been boosted by the return of Sebastian Kehl

Borussia Dortmund striker Marco Reus routed Stuttgart last Friday but he does not expect his team to have as many chances against Arsenal in their Group F clash in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Therefore, the Germany international, who played his side’s 2-1 win over the Gunners at the Emirates in the reverse fixture two weeks ago, has urged his team-mates to take whatever openings they create at Signal Iduna Park.

“It will be extremely difficult and I don’t expect we’ll get as many opportunities as we did against Stuttgart,” Reus is quoted as saying by Ruhr Nachrichten.

Group F is very tight, with Napoli, Arsenal and Dortmund all on six points after the first three matches. A win on Wednesday would put breathing space between Die Schwarzgelben and Arsenal.

In addition, the Germans, who currently sit second in the Bundesliga, have also been given a boost ahead of the match after it was revealed that defender Sebastian Kehl has recovered from injury.

“I am ready to be in the squad again,” the 33-year-old announced on the eve of the game in Dortmund.
