The Italy forward has been a key member of the Bianconeri's run to the last eight and is looking forward to their tie against Bayern Munich
The Italy international has scored four goals in Europe as the Vecchia Signora have progressed to the quarter-finals, and admitted that appearing in the competition was the fulfilment of a lifetime aim.
"I've seen the Champions League on television and it has always been my dream to play in it," he told Uefa.com.
"This year I have been lucky enough to take part, and so far it has gone well.
"I will never forget my debut in the competition [against Chelsea in the group stages]. And the goal I scored will always hold a special place in my heart."
The 30-year-old is hoping to be part of the side who face Bayern Munich in the last eight, and he stressed that Antonio Conte's outfit must not let the German side dictate proceedings in the two legs.
He added: "It will be a great contest because Bayern have some great attacking players. We'll need to be at our best defensively.
"The target is to play our own game and go for goals. It would be a dream to score but the most important thing is the result."
