The Brazil international has insisted that PSG are ready for the task at hand, but has warned that los Che will not be pushoversThiago Silva has stressed that Paris Saint-Germain cannot afford to underestimate Valencia ahead of the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie, and has singled out Roberto Soldado as the Primera Division side's main attacking threat.
The Parisiens recorded a 2-1 away win in the first leg, but Silva believes the tie is not over just yet as Valencia cannot be taken lightly.
"Roberto Soldado is a great striker. I like the Spanish Liga a lot, so I follow his matches a lot. He has tonnes of qualities. He can be a threat but he's not the only one – the entire Valencia team can be a danger," the defender said at a press conference.
"We've been through some difficult moments in the past few weeks, and although I was out I have obviously experienced losses in my career.
"The expectations here are very high, but there's always a lot of pressure in football. The Champions League is magic, in that it helps you to focus 100 per cent, which may not always be the case in the league. I'm ready and the team is too. Our goal is to qualify."
Wednesday's match in Paris is scheduled to kick off at 20:45CET.
