Real Madrid will be gunning for revenge, says Hummels
The Germany international is looking forward to Tuesday's game in the Spanish capital, while Marcel Schmelzer has stressed Borussia Dortmund will not roll over
Mats Hummels is eagerly anticipating Tuesday's Champions League match away to Real Madrid, and is wary of a difficult match at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Bundesliga champions recorded a 2-1 home win over the Blancos last month, and Hummels expects Jose Mourinho's side to be all fired up to get their revenge at home after that defeat.
"I'm sure they'll want to get revenge and that's a fantastic challenge," Hummels was quoted as saying by news agency EFE.
"I don't know what to expect and what will be waiting for us at the Santiago Bernabeu, but without a doubt the atmosphere will be fantastic."
Left-back Marcel Schmelzer, meanwhile, has stressed that Dortmund will not be pushovers, with qualification in their sights.
"They'll be annoyed because of their loss in Dortmund, and they'll try to roll over us. We're going to resist hard though," he stated.
Jurgen Klopp's men currently hold a one-point lead over Tuesday's opponents at the top of Group D.
