Ibrahimovic demands PSG improvement after Porto loss
The striker is disappointed and criticised his own form after James Rodriguez’s winner condemned the capital club to Champions League defeat in Portugal
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has stated his displeasure after Paris Saint-Germain were beaten 1-0 by Porto at Estadio Dragao in the Champions League last night.
James Rodriguez’s 83rd-minute goal was enough to give the Portuguese champions the victory over the Parisians and striker Ibrahimovic was far from happy with his side's performance.
"I am very disappointed with the result,” Ibrahimovic told L’Equipe. "Personally, I would have done better to help my team get a different result.
“At this point, I'm not at the level that I would change. This game was 50-50. With a little luck you could win.”
The defeat leaves PSG second in group A with three points from two games, with Porto occupying top-spot two wins in as many games.
