The Sweden international striker was positive about his side's performance after Les Parisiens' massive victory to open up their European campaign
Les Parisiens were making their first appearance in the competition since December 2004, and immediately asserted their authority with a fantastic first-half performance that saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic score from the spot, Thiago Silva notch a debut goal and Alex make it 3-0 before the break.
Despite Miguel Veloso scoring a consolation goal for the Ukrainian visitors, Javier Pastore restored his side's three-goal advantage, firing PSG to the top of Group A.
"It was a first game, it was hard, we won but we must continue to work hard. This is a good signal for the future. If we won, it's because we played well. This gives us confidence for the next game against Porto, which is a quality team. This is a wonderful start," declared Ibrahimovic.
His team-mate, Jallet picked up on the fact that the lavishly assembled side have finally been able to gel, whilst insisting that their next match in the group will be more difficult.
"We managed to have the edge, in both attack and in defence. Our hard work paid off with a great win," the right-back told UEFA.com.
"We managed to raise the bar to Champions League level tonight. Now our trip to Porto will be another stiff test."
Meanwhile, PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti has also told of his pleasure at the performance.
"I'm very happy. We prepared well this game. The first half was very good in terms of quality. It really was a great performance," he explained.
Les Parisiens return to Ligue 1 action against SC Bastia on Saturday. Kick-off is at 17:00CET.
