thumbnail Hello,

The Nigerian feels that Roberto Di Matteo's side have the quality to stop any opponent, but stressed that they will have to "keep it tight" at the back against the Bavarians

Celestine Babayaro has advised Chelsea to stick together in defence and remain compact in Saturday's Champions League final against Bayern Munich if they are to be successful at the Allianz Arena.

The Nigerian, who is still the youngest player to have appeared in the Champions League, believes that the Premier League side have the quality to stop anyone, but added that the Bavarians boast plenty of talent as well.

"Bayern are a great team so Chelsea need to stick together from the start and play as a team, especially in defence," Babayaro stated to the official Uefa website.

"Bayern are going to play their normal system and I think Chelsea are going to stick to their style, which is to build from defence and try to create chances.

"Chelsea have the quality to stop anyone, they are in the final and that says it all. Against Barcelona in the semi-final no one gave them a chance but they got through. They are in the final on Saturday and I think they are going keep it tight."

The Champions League final in Munich kicks off at 20.45CET.
