thumbnail Hello,

The Germany international was shocked after his side's heavy loss in France as he felt the Bundesliga champions deserved a better result

Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels has expressed his frustration with his side's 3-0 Champions League Group F loss away against Olympique de Marseille on Wednesday evening.

The centre-back feels that the Bundesliga champions dominated proceedings in France and deserved at least a draw rather than a heavy loss.

"We can't believe what happened. The score is ridiculous because we had the better chances and we had 11 corners to their four," Hummels was quoted as saying on the official Uefa website.

"But we made three individual mistakes and they scored three goals. It's really hard for us because we should have won but we are going home with zero points."

Borussia Dortmund have dropped to third spot in the table following this week's results with only one point from two matches. Marseille, on the other hand, top the section, with Arsenal in second and Olympiakos bottom.
