Barcelona's Pedro looks eagerly ahead to the Wembley final after his side see off the challenge of Real Madrid at the Camp Nou...

Barcelona secured yet another Champions League final berth after a 1-1 draw in Camp Nou in the second leg of the semi-final was enough to ensure they overcame their old adversary Real Madrid 3-1 on aggregate.

Talking to the press after the game Pedro said: “I’m full of joy. It’s always tough to reach a Champions League final, and to have a match against a great team like Real Madrid has made things very difficult.

“They have great players, a superb team, and we are very pleased with the end result because it was very difficult”.

Pedro, who scored Barcelona’s only goal on the night thanks to great work by Andres Iniesta, continued: “I felt a great sense of joy when I scored. Andres [Iniesta] gave me a great pass, but in this game everyone gave a great level of input.

“Hopefully we can win the final at Wembley, but we know it will be difficult because Manchester [United] have a great team.”

Barcelona will face either Manchester United or Schalke in the final of the Champions League on Saturday 28th May.
